Joel Silverstein has over 30 years business experience in the Asia Pacific region working with leading consumer based multinational companies such as Black & Decker, British American Tobacco, PepsiCo Restaurants (KFC, Pizza Hut), DIRECTV, and Outback Steakhouse. Joel has built and managed $200-500 Million organizations while resident in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Atlanta. He was a former Board Member of KFC Japan, a $700 Million Public Company traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. From 1998-2004, he was the Outback Steakhouse franchisee in Japan and eventually assumed responsibility for the Outback restaurants (Company Owned and Franchise) in the region. With over 15 years experience in the food service and franchising areas, Joel estabished East West Hospitality Group Limited in Hong Kong to work with leading international hospitality companies in Asia, The Americas and Europe to establish long term sustainable business results in overseas markets. Partners currenlty reside in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Dallas and NewYork.
